Windermere: River Valley Living in SW Edmonton

Windermere is in southwest Edmonton, south of Anthony Henday Drive, on the east side of the North Saskatchewan River Valley. It was farmland in Strathcona County until Edmonton annexed it in 1982. The City's plan calls for a range of housing types, a series of parks and pathways, and a mixed-use commercial centre. If river valley views close to home sound good, Windermere is worth a look.
