Spruce Grove: City Conveniences, Just West of Edmonton

Spruce Grove is a city about 11 kilometres west of Edmonton. It started in the 1890s as a small community, and after the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway came through in 1908, it became a busy grain-trading centre. Today you'll find shops, restaurants, sports and culture, plus all-weather trails linking many of its neighbourhoods and parks. It's worth a look if you want more breathing room close to Edmonton.
